Junior Members: The Capital Bears are open to anyone who wants to participate. Junior members are allowed and encouraged to attend all public events Capital Bears sponsors.Representative Members: For those who want a little more, we offer Representative Membership. Representative Membership is required to vote at planning meetings and at yearly elections. Representative members will receive some exclusive communications throughout the year with group and upcoming activity information, one complimentary Capital Bears merchandise item when they are ordered, and at least one Representative Members-Only event per year. Membership fees for the representative membership will be due annually by March 1st and shall consist of $30. If you wish to join the Capital Bears after March 1, your first years dues will be prorated based on the month you join: February, March, April, May = $30June, July, August, September = $20October, November, December, January = $10 - This price does not include the Capital Bears merchandise item.Discounted membership (Starting March 2021): A member may qualify for a discounted membership if they have volunteered at least 20 hours for events in the previous 12 month period of March 1st through the last day of February. With this condition met, the fee for the following year will be $10. You will be contacted by the President of the Capital Bears and there will be an option for your to pay your $10 in the Online Store link above. By signing up, you give your consent to the Capital Bears to use your image and likeness in publications, including electronic publications, audiovisual presentations, promotional literature, advertising, community presentations, social media and/or other similar ways. Your consent is freely given as a public service to the Capital Bears without expecting payment. Completing this form also signifies that you have read and understand the Capital Bears Bylaws. The Bylaws are accessible on the "About Us" tab of the Capital Bears website.
