Carroll County RSVP engages volunteers to enhance community services, focusing on Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Program for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and veterans and Meals on Wheels Driver Program in Carroll County, NH.

Support Carroll County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program

Kim has graciously volunteered to represent Carroll County Retired &amp; Senior Volunteer Program in the 2026 Valley Ms Pageant! Our amazing volunteers served 40,788 volunteer hours throughout Carroll County including MaineHealth Memorial, our local food pantries, Dinner Bell, local libraries, and many other non-profits and service organizations. Carroll County Retired &amp; Senior Volunteer Program is a vibrant, active, and innovative organization focused on providing meaningful service opportunities for adults &nbsp;interested in serving the communities of Carroll County, NH. RSVP challenges our volunteers to tap into their talents, knowledge, dedication, and skills and share them with the community. Our volunteers work with individuals of all ethnicities and ages and enjoy the benefits of making a difference in their community. In order to continue its efforts, RSVP is always searching for the time, services, and talents of local volunteers.&nbsp; In 2025, our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation drivers served 1,248 volunteer hours and drover over 30,000 miles. Our Non-Emergency Medical Program program provides transportation to medical appointments. Transportation can be difficult to find, especially if the appointment requires a friend or family member to pick you up after the procedure. With transportation becoming an increasingly prevalent issue for seniors, adults with disabilities, and veterans, RSVP of Carroll County has a program in place to provide volunteer drivers and escorts to medical appointments.&nbsp; In 2025 RSVP&#39;s Meals on Wheels Drivers served 4,818 hours and logged over 32,000 miles. RSVP&rsquo;s Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers deliver healthy nutritious meals to older adults and adults with disabilities. &nbsp;Our mission is to enrich the lives of the elderly, veterans and individuals with disabilities allowing the individuals to remain in their homes for as long as possible in an independent and dignified manner. Our trained drivers not only deliver nutritious meals, but also provide daily safety checks, resource information, and peace of mind for the participants and their loved ones. The meals are prepared at four locations throughout Carroll County: Gibson Center for Senior Services, Moultonborough-Sandwich Meals Program, Ossipee Concerned Citizens, and Wolfeboro Meals on Wheels. Overall, the program successfully helps to reduce or prevent malnutrition, ensure safety, reduce isolation and to keep folks at home where they prefer to be, strengthening our community one senior at a time.
