Cataumet Schoolhouse Preservation Group is dedicated to preserving the historic Cataumet Schoolhouse as a cultural and educational resource, promoting community engagement through performances and events that celebrate local history and heritage.

Sheryl Faye returns to Bourne to present &ldquo;Liberty and Legacy,&rdquo; a new production that brings the words, wit, and wisdom&nbsp;of Abigail Adams vividly to life for modern audiences. &nbsp;Ms Faye&rsquo;s live performance re-introduces Abigail Adams, not simply as a founder&rsquo;s wife, but as a fearless political thinker, advocate for women&rsquo;s rights, and moral compass during the American Revolution and the birth of the nation. &nbsp;Through Adams&#39; own letters and writings &mdash; paired with contemporary staging and technology &mdash; the show invites audiences to experience her enduring relevance and conversations about liberty, equality, leadership, and civic responsibility. Ms Faye&#39;s performance is co-sponsored by Cataumet Schoolhouse Preservation Group, &nbsp;Bourne Society for Historic Preservation and Bourne Newcomers and Neighbors, and is funded in part by a grant from the Bourne Cultural Council, a local agency supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
