Cedcas Health and Wellness is a Christian 501c3 nonprofit organization working in partnership with a local nonprofit in Costa Rica empowering vulnerable families by nurturing hope, healing, and health—thus helping to transform one family at a time.

🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟At Cedcas Health And Wellness, we know that change starts with people like you.&nbsp;<h3 data-end="314" data-start="284" fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;">A Place of Belonging</h3>In many vulnerable neighborhoods, like the small community of Santo Tomas in Costa Rica, &nbsp;young people spend their afternoons without safe spaces to gather. Then, a youth center opens its doors and it slowly becomes something far more powerful: a place of belonging.Children discover that someone cares about them. A volunteer remembers their name, a tutor cheers when they master multiplication, and a mentor listens when life feels overwhelming. This simple act of being seen begins to reshape how they see themselves. CEDCAS is partnering with the Santo Tomas Baptist Church to make this project a reality, in memory of Aziel, whose life reflected a Godly man and his special love for kids. Entonces, un centro juvenil abre sus puertas y se convierte lentamente en algo mucho m&aacute;s poderoso: un lugar de pertenencia.Los ni&ntilde;os descubren que alguien se preocupa por ellos. Un voluntario recuerda sus nombres, un tutor aplaude cuando dominan la multiplicaci&oacute;n, y un mentor escucha cuando la vida se siente abrumadora. Este simple acto de ser visto comienza a transformar la forma en que se ven a s&iacute; mismos. CEDCAS se est&aacute; asociando con la Iglesia Bautista de Santo Tom&aacute;s para hacer realidad este proyecto, en memoria de Aziel, cuya vida reflejaba a un hombre piadoso y su amor especial por los ni&ntilde;os. As we approach a new year, 2026, your financial support becomes more vital than ever. We are reminded that generosity is one of the most powerful ways the Church becomes the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. For many of the families we serve, December is not a season of celebration but rather hardships most of us will never see. Some do not even know the true meaning of Christmas. Their December is full of uncertainty &mdash; wondering if they will have enough food, if their children will remain safe, or if an elderly parent will receive the care they need as they have little or no support system. Your gifts allows you to stand in the gap for these families.&nbsp; With your help, they can continue to receive nutritious food bags for those living in shanty towns, protecting children at risk, and accompanying the elderly who would otherwise be forgotten. Your year-end partnership helps us restore dignity and hope through practical expressions of God&rsquo;s love, including affordable medical and dental care for those who would otherwise go without. This is where the expressions of God&rsquo;s love and His salvation are demonstrated. Every gift, no matter the size, carries hope into homes that have little else.
