A Paper Trail to the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act Project
This project, which our Military Museum led the development, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act with both a major exhibition, a national archive and a commemorative book. This law, which was in effect for almost a quarter century, led to the darkest and, for some, the most despairing period for Chinese in Canada. There will also be a book tour to educate and share stories within the book.
