Climbing Team At Utah Valley University

LXCL:The Climbing Team at Utah Valley University is a student-run team competing in the USA Climbing Collegiate Series, Rocky Mountain Division. We field a Competition Team and a Rec Team, so you can chase a national qualifier or just train with a crew that pushes you.Tryouts are not a cut, and you do not need a lead certification to come.We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 99-0953309. Your support covers entry fees, travel to collegiate events, ropes and gear.

Tuesday, September 1 or Wednesday, September 2 &middot; 6 to 8 PM &middot; The Project, UVU Student Life and Wellness Center. $30 one time, 25 spots per night.Pick one night, pay once, and your spot is held. Comp Team and Rec Team try out on the same two nights, so you only need to come to one.This is a tryout fee only. It is not team dues. Paying it gets you a spot at tryouts, nothing more. If you make the team, team dues are separate, and you would pay those later.What to bring: climbing shoes (bring your own or rent from UVU), a harness, chalk, and anything else you like to climb in. Ropes are provided.Waiver: print and sign this before you come. Two things people miss: initial section 5 (the climbing wall part) and fill in an emergency contact and phone number. You can still sign one at the gym, it just takes longer.After you pay, you will get a link to a short registration form. Please fill it out before you come. It tells us your climbing background and whether you are interested in Comp or Rec.Your $30 covers your spot at The Project for tryout night and supports the team.Both nights full?
