Collective Resilience is excited to be collaborating with the Berkeley Disaster Preparedness Neighborhood Network to pilot test our first mini-grants program! Funding will support projects for neighborhood groups and community facilities (places of worship, community centers, libraries, schools, etc) with the goals of preparing for natural and climate emergencies and strengthening relationships with community members. We are seeking financial contributions to add to the current $9000 for this program. We are anticipating a large number applications. We are prioritizing projects which: Directly serve underserved neighborhoods and high-risk populations .Support the development of emerging or inactive neighborhood groups ORSupport trusted community sites which serve community members during natural or climate disasters ("resilience hubs")Please see the Collective Resilience or BDPNN website for more information. Your gift to the BDPNN Mini-Grants Program helps neighbors turn resilient ideas into real projects. 🌱 Every contribution strengthens community-led responses to climate and natural disasters. 🤝
