LXCL:Creative Art Events&nbsp;brings people together through inclusive, hands-on art experiences rooted in environmental awareness and climate justice. We provide spaces for self-expression, learning, and connection, empowering individuals of all ages to explore creativity as a tool for personal healing and collective action. Turning trash into fashion, ideas into impact, and strangers into neighbors.

This FREE 3-week summer program for ages 14&ndash;23&nbsp;invites you to explore the world of fashion design&nbsp;through a safe space that emphasizes creativity and upcycled materials to turn old clothes into bold new looks. We&rsquo;ll meet twice weekly from 6&ndash;9 p.m. for hands-on workshops and an interactive hang out space where fashion and sustainability come together. Our hours allow you to enjoy your daytime summer activities while giving everyone a creative evening place to gather and make friends. Along the way, you&rsquo;ll collaborate to learn skills like sewing, clothing repair, and fashion design. You&rsquo;ll try quick design challenges and experiment with clothing, fabric, and even recycled materials. Whether you&rsquo;ve never touched a sewing machine or you already love design, this program is for you!&nbsp;Guest designers will share their unique style, from thrift culture and upcycling to creative styling and wearable art. The best part? You&rsquo;ll create unique fashion using reclaimed clothing and materials. Together, you&rsquo;ll work toward showing your creation in a youth-led fashion show &ndash; choosing a theme, planning, and voting for the best look. Children of all ages are allowed to attend, there will be children in the show. Note that an adult caretaker is responsible for the children at all times.
