LXCL:Dead Name Theatre is an emerging theatre company that uplifts and centres the voices, experiences, and talents of trans, non-binary, and queer creatives in Toronto.

We&#39;ve selected our favourite songs from the musical theatre canon that reflect the theme of JOY&nbsp; This production ensures we are reaching towards DNT&rsquo;s core initiative: to inspire a shift in casting culture and make theatre at large more accessible and inclusive for trans and non-binary creatives.&nbsp; Performances run July 16, 17, 18 at 8:00 PM at the Tranzac Club in Toronto, so get your tickets now!&nbsp; Accessibility:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">This is a mask encouraged event. Masks will be provided at the door for those who are able to wear them. Toronto is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and M&eacute;tis peoples. Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.&nbsp; DNT&#39;s three leading values are Representation, Community, and Storytelling as Activism.&nbsp; With Representation we seek to provide more opportunities for the immensely talented theatre practitioners who have been denied opportunity because of their marginalized gender and sexual identities. In regards to Community, with a rehearsal space where we are the majority, we can offer a more nuanced representation of trans, non-binary, and queer characters on stage. Lastly, with Storytelling as Activism, we seek to add to the greater canon of trans works being created.
