Delray Citizens for Delray Police supports and enhances the Delray Beach Police Department through community engagement, recognition of service, and fostering partnerships to ensure safety and well-being in our community.

Delray Citizens for Delray Police will host its Twenty-First Annual Employee Awards Gala on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort &amp; Spa. &nbsp;This special occasion will honor four distinguished employees who have dedicated more than 20 years of exemplary service to both our department and the community: &nbsp;Deputy Chief Rodney Stevenson, Lieutenant Eddie McCabe, Sergeant Troy Baer and Officer Adam Whiting.&nbsp;&nbsp;We invite our local dignitaries to join us for an evening of fine dining, celebration, and entertainment in recognition of their outstanding commitment and contributions.&nbsp;&nbsp;This event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of Delray Citizens for Delray Police, in partnership with local businesses and the Police Department. Through this partnership, attendance is offered at a cost of $50.00 per person. This includes hors d&rsquo;oeuvres, salad, a choice of three entr&eacute;e selections, dessert, and one drink ticket.&nbsp;&nbsp;We look forward to celebrating this memorable evening with you.
