About the CourseThe Flash Technique is an innovative trauma processing tool introduced in 2017 by Dr. Phil Manfield. It&#39;s easy to learn and safer than most trauma processing modalities because it does not require clients to recall their traumatic memories in depth. Our instructor, Bay Area Christian therapist <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.deoworks.org/flash-technique-project" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Sik-Lam Wong, LMFT</a>, is a leading researcher of the Flash Technique and has adapted the Flash Technique for use in humanitarian situations, including at homeless shelters, with migrants, and with survivors of war. In this class you will learn the basics of the Flash Technique as well as ways to apply it to ministry situations, such as with large groups of people or as an intensive to help someone process traumatic memories in a limited amount of time. You can also use the Flash Technique in your own counseling practice.
