The Dallas Derby Devils are proud to announce that we will be hosting the inaugural Contenders Cup, an unofficial WFTDA Division 2 tournament, taking place July 31 through August 2 in North Texas. The Contenders Cup is designed to expand competitive opportunities for teams and create more meaningful tournament play within the roller derby community. As the sport continues to grow and evolve, this event aims to provide a platform for highly competitive teams that fall just outside the current regional tournament qualification line. Our goal is to create a high-quality, community-driven tournament experience that highlights the depth of talent across the region while fostering connection, competition, and collaboration. We are excited to welcome teams, officials, volunteers, and fans from across the region to North Texas for a full weekend of elite roller derby competition.

Contenders Cup 2026

The Dallas Derby Devils are proud to announce that we will be hosting the MRDA Western Hemisphere Cup, taking place July 31 through August 2 in North Texas. The Western Hemisphere Cup, organized by the Men&#39;s Roller Derby Association, brings together top men&rsquo;s and gender-expansive roller derby teams from across the Western Hemisphere to compete at the highest level of MRDA play. This prestigious event showcases elite talent, high-intensity gameplay, and the continued growth of MRDA competition on an international stage. As one of MRDA&rsquo;s premier tournaments, the Western Hemisphere Cup provides teams the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest programs in the sport while fostering connection and camaraderie across leagues and regions. We are excited to welcome athletes, officials, volunteers, and fans from across the hemisphere to North Texas for a high-energy weekend of world-class roller derby.
