The Desert Sands Educational Foundation (DSEF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching and enhancing educational opportunities for the students of the Desert Sands Unified School District (DSUSD). Originally established in 1991 and revitalized in 2012, DSEF continues to secure financial, educational, and community resources that go beyond what state funding alone can provide. From its earliest efforts to integrate technology into classrooms, the Foundation has expanded its support to encompass all aspects of a high-quality education, with an emphasis on academic proficiency, future-focused programs, and welcoming and supportive environments.Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported through strong community partnerships, DSEF is committed to ensuring that every DSUSD student has the tools to thrive. Our mission is grounded in excellence, equity, collaboration, innovation, and integrity.
