LXCL:Disability Advocates of Northwest NC assists individuals with disabilities to obtain social security disability and related benefits. Our work empowers individuals with disabilities and those experiencing homelessness and allows them to live more secure, stable, and independent lives.

🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟At Disability Advocates of Northwest NC, we serve adults who are disabled to assist them in obtaining disability benefits. &nbsp;The disability process is long - sometimes as long as three years or more. Even for individuals whose cases are prioritized under the &quot;compassionate allowance&quot; for quicker processing times still wait months for their benefits to begin. Nearly all of our clients lack the savings to carry them through the time while their disability applications process. &nbsp;And, there are very few organizations that help with emergency funds for monthly housing costs, utilities bills, prescription medication costs, and food.
