We want to tell them they’re safe, that their pain is over, and that a better life is waiting. But today, we have to face a devastating reality. Our vet bill has reached a breaking point, sitting at $9,251.69. This isn't just a number on a page. It represents the "yeses" we’ve already given - the life-saving surgeries, the senior continuous care that keeps them comfortable, and the diagnostic tests that gave us answers when there was no hope left, the dogs who are still under diagnostics and treatment. Because of this balance, we are officially on "Intake Hold." It is the hardest thing for us to say. Until this debt is cleared, we cannot pull another dog from the shelter. Every dollar we owe is a barrier standing between a cold kennel and a warm bed. We are the only voice these dogs have, but right now, our hands are tied.
