DVASBO MEMBERSHIPThe Delaware Valley Association of School Business Officials (DVASBO), a regional chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO), has supported school business professionals in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties for nearly fifty years. DVASBO offers outstanding education, training, professional development, best practices, mentorship, legislative updates, and networking opportunities to its members. DVASBO business partners enhance this support by providing information, products, services and solutions to improve overall school business operations. Additionally, DVASBO is proud to fund an annual scholarship program for high school seniors pursuing careers in business.DVASBO members are professionals working in the following school business areas: finance, accounting, operations, facilities, transportation, food service, technology, communications, human resources, payroll, purchasing, and safety services. While this list is expansive and diverse, all members share the common goal of supporting classroom learning in schools through effective business practices. DVASBO helps make that goal a reality.Membership TypesSchool Business Membership - $250/yearThis membership is for School Districts, Career and Technical Centers (CTC’s) and Intermediate Units (IU’s). There is an annual membership fee that is for the organization and there is no limit to the number of individuals an organization can register. The individuals included on the annual membership registration form will be considered active members and included on DVASBO’s email communications. Active members are strongly encouraged to attend regular DVASBO meetings and events. Active members are voting members of DVASBO.Business Partner Membership - $250/yearThis membership is for businesses that benefit from commercial activity in the area of school business administration. Active member business partners will be listed on DVASBO website with a hyperlink to the business website. There is an annual membership fee that is for the business and there is no limit to the number of individuals that the business can register. The individuals included on the annual membership registration form will be included in DVASBO’s email communications regarding quarterly meetings, workshops and DVASBO events as well as on the following opportunities: annual trade show exhibitor, meeting/professional development sponsorship, holiday luncheon sponsorship, spring social sponsorship, golf outing sponsorship and/or other DVASBO event sponsorship as well as advertising on printed materials. Business partners may also be requested to provide panel speakers or presentations on current topics related to school business operations. Presentation opportunities must be vendor-neutral. Business members are non-voting members of DVASBO.
