Help Support an Eagle Scout Project: Flagpole &amp; Community Brick Tribute at Gilbert Park 🇺🇸 My name is Charlie Mascaro, and I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 95 in West Islip, New York. As I work toward earning my Eagle Scout rank. I am leading a service project that will create a lasting symbol of pride, unity, and patriotism for our community. For my Eagle Scout Project, I am partnering with the Village of Brightwaters to install a new flagpole at Gilbert Park, a place that has meant so much to me growing up. This project will give residents and visitors a place to gather, reflect, and celebrate our shared community and country. As part of the installation, I will be constructing a 12&rsquo; x 12&rsquo; brick base beneath the flagpole. These bricks will serve not only as the foundation, but also as a special thank you to everyone supporting my project. Families, friends, and local businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor bricks, becoming a permanent part of this meaningful landmark while helping fund the project. The flagpole installation is planned for late spring, in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Your support will help cover materials, site preparation, and construction of the brick base and flagpole installation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring this vision to life. This project is more than just earning my Eagle Scout rank, it is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much.
