As a nonprofit media group, Encore Southeast is deeply rooted in our community’s arts, history, communication, journalism, civics, and media literacy. We are the publisher of encore magazine and programs that uplift our community, and provide tools, knowledge, and support to thrive creatively, civically, and journalistically. Our mission is to broaden media literacy and civic engagement, protect and promote trustworthy community journalism, and champion the creative arts. We strive to provide individuals with the tools to critically engage with media, support meaningful connections between local businesses and residents, and amplify the voices that shape our vibrant, artistic community.
