Join us to celebrate wholesome food, the Falmouth Food Co-op and our Community field, Loveland. We will gather around the feasting table to enjoy the Summer bounty and all the other joys that summer brings. This time of year, &quot;Lammas&quot;, is a time for celebrating the first fruits of summer - which we have in abundance at Loveland!<p dir="ltr" fr-original-style="line-height:1.38;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;" style="line-height: 1.38; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); margin: 0pt 0px; width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> We will have the usual deliciously seasonal, sustainably sourced 2-course set menu, cooked in our Loveland Field Kitchen by our very own FFC Kitchen chef, Henry. There will be summery mocktails, games, and musical entertainment. Dancing, playing and general silliness is always encouraged! Most of the fresh produce comes straight from Loveland&#39;s organic market garden, with the rest coming from our network of other local growers and organic wholesalers. We cook our feasts on fire, and use wood from Working Woodlands Cornwall, who are local foresters championing regenerative woodland management. Tickets are priced on a sliding scale from &pound;0-&pound;20, and this year, anything raised after covering the event costs will go straight back into the Loveland and Falmouth Food Co-op Kitchen project! We want to make ecological, local food accessible, but we also need to fundraise for our community projects, or at least break even! We think our feasts are pretty excellent value for an organic two-course meal! Directions to the field will be sent in the confirmation email once you have reserved your feasting ticket. We accept refunds up to 7 days before event. The Kitchen (FFCK), a meals-on-wheels delivery service that cooks nutritious, ethically sourced meals for those in need. And Loveland, a 8-acre community field in Penryn, providing a space to learn and engage with nature, grow food, and build community.
