Family Scout Troop 404

Family Scout Troop 404 unites boys and girls in a single scouting experience, teaching outdoor skills and life lessons through diverse activities like camping, STEM, and community service, preparing youth for future challenges and adventures.

🎉 Have you had a plate of our mouth watering bar-b-que in the past? If not, you have been missing out! Every year we invite the community to buy a plate of brisket, 1/4 chicken, sausage, mashed potatoes, pinto beans and bread, for the very affordable price of $20. In turn, your plate and all the extra plates you buy for friends and family that day support Family Scout Troop 404! A troop that has embraced boys and girls and families together as one. We have one meeting. One Schedule. One camping trip for all. One place to come and learn all the great skills scouting teaches for the outdoors, and life skills it teaches for the leaders of tomorrow. Working together, as one unit, just like in the real world! Every kid camps, climbs Enchanted Rock, fishes, goes canoeing, kayaking, learns STEM from NASA based programs, engineering, cyber tech, AI, and cooking. All the things you need to be a well rounded kid for scholarships and jobs around the globe. We are forward thinking in our role as leaders. That role is to prepare your kids for today's world, for both work and adventure! High adventure! Hiking, biking, swimming, camping, close by and in other states; Disaster and Emergency Preparedness; 1st Aid; Sailing; Community Involvement; Water Sports; Shooting Skills if you allow it, and Safety; and Archery. If it's a sport or a technology that your kid needs to learn, they can learn it here. With us. Any Monday at 7pm at the KC Hall on Hatfield Road. All are welcome. Come join us for the adventure of a lifetime! Thank you for supporting our mission, your support is invaluable.
