Come to our 175th Anniversary Open House! &nbsp;We invite you to be part of this meaningful day&mdash;come for the history, stay for the community, and celebrate 175 years with us PLUS a concert. What better way to kick-off your Independence Day celebrations! 175th ANNIVERSARY &amp; CELEBRATION&nbsp; Honoring Our Past, Embracing Our Future Celebrate a remarkable milestone as we mark&nbsp;175 years of faith, fellowship, and community&nbsp;on July 4th, held in conjunction with America&rsquo;s 250th Independence Day celebration. Set on our historic campus&mdash;listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a Texas Historical Landmark&mdash;this milestone offers a rare opportunity to experience and celebrate within a site rich in history and tradition.&nbsp; Together, we honor our legacy, give thanks for those who came before us, and look ahead with hope and gratitude. All are welcome. Make us part of your July 4th plans&mdash;our afternoon celebration wraps up in time for you to enjoy evening fireworks and festivities across the area. Our 175th Anniversary celebration is a special one-day event beginning with a ticketed Open House from 12:00 &ndash; 1:20 PM, followed by a commemorative worship at 1:30 PM, and capped off by a patriotic July 4th concert at 2:30 PM featuring the Houston Lutheran Chorale. The commemorative worship and concert are free of charge. Open House admission includes a catered lunch and access to all featured activities, including guided tours of the campus, a historical timeline display, and a special time capsule project. &nbsp;Families attending the Open House will have access to the playground, with additional seating available outdoors under the magnolia trees in the courtyard. The Open House luncheon, served 12:00 PM to 1:20 PM, will feature authentic Texas BBQ catered by Pappas Bar-B-Q&mdash;a beloved, family-owned Texas institution known for its slow-smoked meats and classic Southern sides. Meal service will be indoors. Guests are invited to gather, reconnect, and enjoy a welcoming, come-and-go atmosphere while exploring the life and history of our church. We invite you to be part of this meaningful day&mdash;come for the history, stay for the community, and celebrate 175 years with us. What better way to kick-off your Independence Day celebrations! Early Bird tickets are available through May 31 at a discounted rate. Capacity for the Open House is limited, so we encourage you to reserve early. Join us for great food, meaningful moments, and a joyful celebration of 175 years.&nbsp; TICKETS REMAIN AVAILABLE UNTIL SOLD OUT, BUT LUNCH IS ONLY GUARANTEED FOR THOSE WHO SECURE THEIR TICKET OR VOUCHER BY JUNE 20TH. PARKING IS FREE with limited handicap parking on-site.&nbsp; Upon arrival, Open House guests will check in to receive a wristband for access to lunch and activities. Each Open House ticket includes one BBQ plate and 2 drinks of choice. Children ages 9 and under are welcome to enjoy the meal as our guests, with up to two complimentary children&rsquo;s meals included per adult ticket. No alcohol allowed on premises. Meals are prepared for guests attending the Open House and 175th Anniversary Celebration and are not available for take-away, including children&rsquo;s plates. Open House activities, including tours, are subject to change and may have limited availability or scheduled start times. Children under 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.&nbsp; We want you to have an amazing experience! Please enjoy our facilities at your own pace and comfort level, keeping in mind that you are responsible for your own safety and well-being while on the premises.
