Fishing in the D Foundation

Fishing in the D Foundation empowers Detroit's youth and families through hands-on fishing experiences, education, and community support, fostering life skills and conservation awareness to build confidence and brighter futures.

🌟 Join Us in Casting a Brighter Future! 🌟Fishing in the D Foundation was born from a childhood passion that began when I first learned to fish with my grandmother over 30 years ago. Today, that same passion drives our mission to empower Detroit’s youth and families through fishing, education, and community. We provide hands-on fishing experiences, teach valuable life and entrepreneurship skills, and connect kids to conservation education, scholarships, and career opportunities they may have never imagined. At our core, we are a people helping people organization—building confidence, resilience, and brighter futures, one cast at a time.✨ You can help make this possible:

Donate: Every $25 gift funds rods/reels and $20 funds loaded tackle boxes.

Share: Amplify our mission by spreading the word.

Goal: 25 rods & reels, 27 tackle boxes and administrative costs

Thank You, your support creates ripples of opportunity across Detroit. Together, we’re not just teaching kids to fish—we’re helping them build a better future. 🎣
