LXCL:Footprints in the Communiy supports people living in Redcar and Cleveland to help reduce poverty and isolation and improve health and wellbeing. Our Vision is to ensure that the people of Redcar and Cleveland will be self-sufficient, free from poverty and isolation and have hope for their future.

Christmas should be a time of warmth, togetherness and hope. But for people facing hardship in our community, the weeks ahead can bring difficult choices: buying food, heating their home or keeping up with essential bills. This festive season, you can help put food on the table&mdash;and ease some of that worry.Redcar Area Foodbank, part of Footprints in the Community, provides emergency food and a warm welcome to local people experiencing crisis. Behind every food parcel is a person with their own story: a parent trying to make ends meet, someone whose health has affected their income, or a household facing an unexpected setback. We&rsquo;re starting our Christmas appeal now because hardship doesn&rsquo;t wait for December. And when the decorations come down, the need for support continues.Money raised will help us provide emergency food and keep our vital foodbank service running through the festive season and into the difficult winter months beyond. Your support helps us respond when local people need somewhere to turn. Whatever you can give, you&rsquo;ll be helping your neighbours through a difficult time.Please donate if you can, and share this appeal with friends, family and colleagues. You could also bring people together through a workplace collection, a festive fundraiser or donations in place of Christmas cards.
