LXCL:For Every Star, A Tree is a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating desertified Earth...one square foot at a time. We do this by hosting immersive nature experiences through education, workshops, and community-led gatherings.

Learn how to build a Natural Earth home that is 100% permitted by Los Angeles County! For Every Star, A Tree is a nonprofit farm on a mission to heal desertified Earth. We teach desert resilience through growing Tiny Forests, cultivating food, and building infrastructure that helps heal the land. We invite Earthworkers everywhere to camp out at our small farm and help build the first Light Straw-Clay home. Learn about foundations, stemwalls, framing, doors/windows, roof overhangs, and why &quot;slipstraw&quot; is one of three permitted natural Earth builds in Los Angeles County. (The other two are SuperAdobe, via CalEarth, and Strawbale Construction). Take a day trip to the Tiny Forest in the Desert 💚 Enjoy connecting with nature while making a difference. We celebrate the outdoors while bringing people together to appreciate and enjoy the natural world.
