Fredericksburg Police Department Foundation Fund

The Fredericksburg Police Department Foundation Fund supports local law enforcement through community engagement and fundraising events, enhancing public safety and fostering positive relationships between police and residents.

The Fredericksburg Police Department invites businesses, nonprofit organizations, religious organizations, schools, and community members to attend C.R.A.S.E. (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) training.This nationally recognized program, developed by the Texas State University Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Center, provides participants with strategies and options for responding to an active threat event. The training is designed to help individuals better understand how to react during a critical incident and increase their chances of survival until law enforcement arrives. Attendees will gain first-hand insights from local law enforcement on how these crimes are carried out and, more importantly, how to stop them.Modern scammers use advanced, highly convincing tactics that frequently catch people off guard. This presentation will break down real-world examples, identify critical warning signs to watch out for, and offer simple, actionable steps to safeguard personal information and hard-earned money.
