Friends For Cause Foundation (FFCF) is a dedicated non-profit that believes in empowering underprivileged communities in India through initiatives that tackle preventable blindness and poverty. With it sadly home to the world's highest blind population, half of which is preventable, India is a focal point of our compassionate action.Last year, your generous contributions enabled us to facilitate over 5,038 free cataract surgeries.Buoyed by this resounding success, we've set an even more ambitious target this year - to provide 6,111 free surgeries, IN ADDITION to launching our Pilot Project 'Vision on Wheels' (Estimated $150K cost) which will help over 31,000 people annually once started. In keeping with this spirit, your donations will fuel our key initiatives:Gift of Sight: Our flagship project, which provides free cataract eye surgeries 17,500 to date.Gift of Vision: Which delivers free eyeglasses to those in need. 75,000 + free eyeglasses distributed to date.In addition, we run the Gift of Skill program, offering free tailoring courses to young women, empowering them to become self-sustaining, earning individuals.Gift of Support provides essential food and necessities to families in times of need, a project that was notably beneficial during the Covid-19 shutdowns.With FFCF, you can trust that 100% of your donation directly impacts those in need.
