The Friends of CVC Trust Fund was established in 1984. As a Henry Morris Village College, the Trustees, CVC staff, Parents, Carers & School Council fundraise together to enhance the learning experiences of CVC pupils and its wider community.

The Student Council and Friends of CVC Trust Fund have come together to host an exciting fundraising event to celebrate the incredible talent within CVC Community. The event will offer an opportunity to share a broad range of talent, encouraging pupils to display their skills behind the scenes, project management, filming, etc. We hope this will be an uplifting experience for everyone, working together, learning new skills, and having lots of fun. &nbsp;&nbsp;We will welcome any help, advice, or your expertise to make this a successful event. Cash and Cards accepted This is a joint fundraising event organised by Friends of CVC Trust Fund and Meridian Primary School PTA HEADLINE ACT - DUNCAN OAKLEY&nbsp;With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars.He has been a musician since the age of six, has performed on the UK comedy circuit since 1999, appeared at the&nbsp;Edinburgh Fringe Festival,&nbsp;on&nbsp;BBC Radio 4&nbsp;and at many summer festivals as well as starring in&nbsp;Beat24&rsquo;s&nbsp;feature film&nbsp;Frontman&nbsp;and short film&nbsp;Read Between the Signs.&nbsp;Duncan&nbsp;was voted&nbsp;English Comedian of the Year&nbsp;in 2015 and&nbsp;Midlands Comedian of the Year&nbsp;2016.With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life&nbsp;Duncan&nbsp;musters up songs that not only make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you a humming tune with a smile on your face three days later, confused and wondering where it&rsquo;s come from.Duncan&nbsp;performs regularly at some of the UKs biggest clubs and festivals. He has written for and been warm-up for Lenny Henry, Harry Enfield, Milton Jones, Phill Jupitus, and Jasper Carrot as well as audience warm up for Father Ted, Blankety Blank and Ant &amp; Dec. &ldquo;Complete genius . . . Brilliant Observations&rdquo; - Johnny Vaughan MIDDLE ACT - EDI JOHNSTON Edi writes all kinds of songs (Long AND Short) about the trials and tribulations of a middle-aged, ginger, tea-drinking, comfortable shoe-wearing, sport following, hiphop loving rapper &amp; singer/songwriter. Plus your MC ROB COLEMAN Funds raised from this event will support the technical upgrade of the Performance Hall
