Friends of Greenwood Public Library supports literacy and community engagement by funding programs, events, and resources that enhance Greenwood Public Library's offerings, fostering a love for reading and lifelong learning for all ages.

This is the night that you need a babysitter! &nbsp;Experience the library like a kid again with free rein of the building and no one shushing you&hellip;but with snacks and adult beverages! &nbsp;And it&#39;s also a fundraiser for the Greenwood Library Foundation! &nbsp;The Foundation raises funds so that library staff can dream up, plan, and offer exciting programs just like the fun you&#39;re going to have at Library After Dark. &nbsp;A library card is not required to attend this event, BUT you must be 21+ to attend. Your ticket includes:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Laser Tag</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Silent disco</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Crafts</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mini golf</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Giant games</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">And more!</li></ul>Throughout the evening you&#39;ll earn tickets by participating in activities for the chance to win one of 5 raffle prizes. &nbsp;Bring your competitive spirit and let your inner child run free (and still be home by 10:30pm). Doors open at 6pm (entry until 7pm). &nbsp;Entry fee includes soft drinks, snacks, and fun! &nbsp;Food trucks and adult beverages (Taxman Brewing) will be available with items for purchase. &nbsp;Don&#39;t forget your ID! &nbsp;There is a 2-drink limit per Library policy. **There will be no refunds for this event. &nbsp;All ticket sales will be given to the Greenwood Library Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 that supports library programming and services. &nbsp;Tickets can be transferred to a friend or family member if you are unable to attend after registering. &nbsp;Please give us a call at 317-881-1953 with any questions or to transfer your ticket.

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Are you an avid reader? &nbsp;Do you make lists of books to read from Tik Tok videos? &nbsp;Or are you maybe a hopeless romantic that loves a bit of swoon worthy storytelling? &nbsp;Is curling up with a good book and a cup of tea your favorite way to spend an afternoon? &nbsp; GPL is building a weekend JUST for you! &nbsp;This year we&#39;re celebrating women of a certain age - the one&#39;s that are going through &quot;The Change&quot; :) &nbsp;We&#39;re really celebrating ALL women who will go through, are going through, or have survived this season of life. &nbsp;AND we get to welcome New York Times Bestselling author Kim Michele Richardson (The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek)&nbsp;to GPL just in time for the release of her newest title! *The date looks a little wonky on the app...sorry! &nbsp;Tricky to input that information for an event that crosses over two days. Saturday | April 18 | 6-9pm is our Reader&#39;s Market at GPLSunday | April 19 | 9-3pm is additional activities and our author event at GPL **This year we have a variety of ticketing options dependent on how involved you want to be during the weekend! &nbsp;Please be sure to read the descriptions for each ticket type to know what is included. ***Ticket refunds will be available through March 31st. &nbsp;We depend on ticket sales to host this event. &nbsp;You are always welcome to transfer tickets to another individual. &nbsp;Please reach out to Emily Ellis (eellis@greenwoodlibrary.us) to update ticketing information.
