Our mission

Friends of Morongo Valley advocates to preserve Morongo Valley's scenic, cultural, and environmental resources and unique desert landscape. Our first campaign is Residents Against The Tower (RATTs), formed in 2022 in response to a proposed 196'-tall multi-tenant communications tower on BLM lands at the scenic Gateway to the Hi-Desert, atop the Morongo Grade. We are fundraising to pursue a well-supported legal challenge to the tower project and need your help to see it through.
