Friends of PACT Place supports social service providers by creating spaces for connection and well-being. They focus on nourishing those who nourish others through professional gatherings and community engagement.

&nbsp;Picnic with The PACT Place 🌞 Join us for an afternoon of fun, connection, and making memories at Picnic with The PACT Place! Bring the whole family to the Lockport Recreation Center on Saturday, August 22 for an indoor picnic filled with activities everyone can enjoy. Spread out your blankets, enjoy great food, participate in crafts and games, enter for giveaways, and spend quality time together in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.At The PACT Place, we believe that meaningful moments strengthen relationships, and this event is all about creating opportunities for families to laugh, connect, and make lasting memories. As a special bonus, each family will receive a take-home activity pack to continue the fun at home. Our goal is to nourish those who nourish others.&nbsp; A picnic lunch will be provided. Topics Include:<ul fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Beyond Separation: &nbsp;Coercive Control,Child Safety, and the Decisions That can Mean Life or Death &nbsp;</li></ul><ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Understanding the Why Behind Louisiana&#39;s Family Violence, Stalking, Custody &amp; Visitation Laws</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration - When the Community Comes Together for Safety</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">From Protection to Connection: &nbsp;The Role of Supervised Visitation&nbsp;</li></ul> A light breakfast will be served and lunch is included with all tickets.&nbsp; This course &nbsp;has been approved by the Louisiana Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Louisiana Supreme Court for a maximum of&nbsp;4.75 hours credit, including 1 Hour Professionalism.&nbsp; Application has been submitted to NASW-LA for for 4.75 general contact hours and is currently pending approval.
