Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail advocates for the development and enhancement of the Bloomingdale Trail, promoting green space and community engagement to improve urban life in Chicago through recreation, art, and environmental stewardship.

Join us for a one-hour guided tree walk 🌳 along the Bloomingdale Trail, exploring the trees and plants that make this urban park a vital green corridor for our neighborhoods. On this walk, you&rsquo;ll learn about some of the unique trees that enhance the trail and how Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail supports a group of local volunteer scientists who observe the mighty serviceberry trees that grow along the trail. Your registration helps us plan group size and support future community programs. 🌿 This one-hour walk will be led by Nandika &quot;Dika&quot; Gervais, a Tree Keeper, local phenologist, and Friend of the Bloomingdale Trail volunteer.&nbsp;
