Fusion 49th District Inc

Fusion 49th District Inc fosters community and economic growth by connecting Gulfport and St. Petersburg through vibrant markets, cultural events, and local commerce, creating opportunities for residents and businesses to thrive together.

Laughter is Medicine brings neighbors, artists, and local businesses together for an evening of comedy, connection, and community care 😂. More Than a Comedy Show...Laughter is Medicine is the official kickoff of the Fusion 49th Healthy Corridor Initiative—a community movement focused on strengthening mental wellness, emotional well-being, healthy businesses, and healthier neighborhoods. We believe wellness isn't found only in doctors' offices.Sometimes wellness begins with...• laughing with neighbors• connecting with community• supporting local businesses• reducing stress• creating spaces where people simply belong This gathering is designed to remind us that healing can happen through joy, connection, and shared experiences. The evening features an unforgettable 90-minute comedy experience with nationally recognized comedian Tarus, while supporting a larger community mission.A portion of proceeds will help support future Healthy Corridor initiatives and a local mental wellness organization serving our community.Together, we're proving that wellness belongs everywhere—including right here on the 49th Street Corridor.
