Spiral Journey September Fundraiser Campaign

Facets of Being&mdash;Global Disparities in Power and Privilege is an invitation to explore identities and social location in local and global contexts. We will dance around the expanded spiral of the Work That Reconnects while turning our gaze towards our own pockets of power and privilege or lack thereof&mdash;shifting our perspectives&mdash; and weaving diverse narratives into a fabric that can hold all of humanity.In this six-week course, we will expand our awareness of global disparities and our emotional capacity to hold reality in all its complexity and contradictions. We will play together, tell stories and engage our imagination to move beyond the oppressive systems that thrive on greed and supremacy serving a few while exploiting the planet and the global majority.

Facets of Being Aug/Sept 2026

In a time of profound ecological, social, and relational disruption, many of us feel called to deepen our capacity for peacemaking, not only in the world around us, but within ourselves and the systems we inhabit. This residential retreat brings together the interactive group work of the Work That Reconnects (WTR) with practical peacemaking approaches to support participants in facing the challenges of our times with open hearts and clear eyes. We will engage with practices which develop inner resilience, ethical clarity and grounded action, so we can be the change we want to see in the world.&nbsp; In person at San Damiano Retreat Center, Danville, California
