What?Focused on fun and learning the songs you listen to, this 13-week teen-only guitar club is open to youth in high school (13-19 years old).Instruction will be tailored to the needs of the club members.The program will end with a community performance, decided upon by the club, on the last evening of the session (i.e.: at a seniors' home or within the Simcoe Youth Choir concert).Maximum 10 participants.When and Where?Hillcrest Public School on Mondays from 7pm to 8pm.September 15th to December 15th (no classes on Thanksgiving).Cost?$65 for the 13-week program. $20 deposit for those in financial need. The deposit will be refunded if your teen attends at least 10 classes. Please email [email protected] before registering if you need to split up your payment of the deposit.Includes the free loan of a guitar for those who sign an instrument loan agreement.Requirements:Willingness to learn, participate, be respectful, and committed to attending classes.No previous experience or music reading ability needed.
