The mission of the Goochland Sheriffs Foundation is to support community outreach activities and programs of the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office. The Goochland Sheriffs Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2022 by a group of citizen volunteers. The Foundation is not part of the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and is not affiliated with any political party. The Foundation is governed by a board of directors and is managed by officers elected annually by the board of directors. The Foundation is funded entirely by community support and donations. We host various fundraising events in coordination with the sheriff’s office community outreach activities. All donations directly benefit the mission of the Goochland Sheriffs Foundation.
