One new volunteer could make a difference to someone for months or even years.£25 a month could help towards an initial home visit for someone referred to us. We don't just look at why they were referred - we look at the whole picture, from loneliness and benefits to mobility, fire safety, equipment and other support that could help them remain safe and independent at home.£30 a month (about the cost of a family takeaway) could help towards a volunteer's expenses, enabling them to visit someone who is isolated, provide companionship and help them reconnect with their community. Your gift helps make volunteering affordable for the people who give their time freely.£35 a month could help towards the travel costs of our team visiting people in their own homes. For someone who is housebound, vulnerable or unable to come to us, that home visit can be the first step towards getting the help they need.£40 a month could cover an initial advocacy assessment visit, giving someone time with our Advocate to understand what's happening, what support they may be entitled to and what we can do to help. From benefits and debt to housing, care and health concerns, sometimes knowing where to start makes all the difference.£50 a month could help us keep our services running and available to local people who need them. That’s around £11.50 a week - perhaps the sort of amount easily spent on a couple of weekly treats or lottery tickets.
