Because Grassland Groupies is a small, grassroots public charity, your donation goes a long way and makes a huge material difference for our organization. In our 3 years of operation, with a shoestring budget, we have managed to build a reach that rivals organizations with massive corporate and government support. Thanks mainly to contributions from individual members of our community who support our work, our passionate and experienced team is able to make an enormous impact that reached over 10,500 people in in-person programming alone in 2024.Your support and involvement furthers our educational mission to inspire the conservation of grasslands through building community, sparking curiosity, and engaging more teens and adults in conservation and our civic responsibilities.We thank you for your continued interest and involvement in Grassland Groupies, and we look forward, with purpose and resolve, to what is possible in 2025.

Donations to the Bee City Wichita initiative go directly towards making Wichita a greener, more pollinator-friendly place to live. From school plantings to pollinator gardens in public parks we are dedicated to creating and improving pollinator habitat to help our local wildlife from a bottom-up approach. Healthy plants and insects benefit all.

Please only pay for your certification after your application has been approved. A certification is valid for three years after which you must show the garden is still being taken care of and pay the $10 recertification fee. All fees directly support pollinator conservation in Wichita.
