Preserve the Future.Grave Geek Volunteers, Inc. proudly introduces the Adopt-A-Memorial Fundraiser, a year-round giving opportunity where your support directly helps us clean, research, and preserve headstones and memorials in need.This ongoing fundraiser allows donors to symbolically “adopt” a gravestone or monument, supporting our nonprofit’s mission to protect and honor historic cemeteries across the region. Your donation ensures that these sacred spaces are cared for with respect, professionalism, and compassion. All cleaned and preserved stones will be added to our website, so you can see the tangible impact of your support and help us share these stories with the world. Donation PackagesChoose the level of support that’s meaningful to you: Heritage Helper – $25Helps clean and document one headstone.We will provide a before and after photo. Receive a thank-you email with a photo of a cleaned stone your donation supported. Memory Guardian – $50Supports preservation efforts for moderately worn or older monuments.Includes before-and-after photos and a digital thank-you certificate.Includes basic research into the life of the person memorialized. (If documents are available) Legacy Preserver – $100Helps clean and stabilize larger or more fragile monuments.Includes a donor certificate, before-and-after photos, and recognition on our website’s donor wall.Includes expanded historical research about the individual buried at the site. (If documents are available) Historic Hero – $250Sponsors full restoration and preservation efforts for select historic memorials.Receive a personalized thank-you package, donor recognition on our website and social media, and the option to dedicate your donation in memory or honor of someone special.Includes detailed research and a short biography of the individual, shared with your thank-you materials and our online gallery. (If documents are available) Eternal Steward – $500+Funds advanced restoration projects, multiple monument adoptions, or preservation tools and materials.For advanced projects the GraveGeek(s) working on the project will have a One on One phone or video call to discuss. Includes premium recognition on our website and social platforms, a custom thank-you video, exclusive progress updates, and a feature in our annual impact report.Includes in-depth research and a written profile of the individual(s), which may be featured on our site as a spotlight story.
