The Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium promotes water safety through collaboration, education, and community engagement, aiming to prevent drowning and enhance safety practices across the Great Lakes region.

The Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium is convening in person again because it&rsquo;s where we&rsquo;ve historically made our biggest leaps forward &ndash; not just sharing what works, but helping communities implement it.&nbsp; Our conference theme: From Plans to Practice: Great Lakes Water Safety in Action, brings together first responders, researchers, beach and park leaders, survivors and families, advocates, and partners from across the region. Expect real-world best practices, peer problem-solving, and practical takeaways you can apply back home.&nbsp; Our goal is simple: every participating organization leaves with a 90-day plan and stronger cross-lake connections that help prevent drowning and reduce rescues.
