Hammerheads ESU

Hammerheads ESU empowers youth through scouting, fostering skills, teamwork, and community engagement. They promote personal development and outdoor activities, creating a supportive environment for young people to thrive and connect with nature.

Coach to Challenge26&nbsp;Coach will leave Pontefract Park (just behind Aspire at the Park) at 6pm on Friday 10th July. Please arrive at the park at 5:40pm. Please park sensibly and ensure there is space for the coach to park. Coach will arrive at Braham Park at 3pm. &nbsp;We anticipate it being back at Ponte park by 4pm. Please ensure your child&#39;s bags are labelled with name and group. &nbsp;Please do not assume your child will recognise their bag - children not recognising their own belongings is a big challenge for us as Scout leaders. Please contact your Group Lead Volunteer or unit leader if you have any questions.

Help Hammerheads ESU and Voyager Penguins ESU raise &pound;20,000 to get our Explorers to Norway 🌍 Help our Explorers build new skills on cross-country ski&#39;s, explore the frozen wilderness on snowshoes, summit local viewpoints and dig for survival building their own snow shelters. &nbsp;Help them experience the Norwegian Friluftsliv philosophy of outdoor life, whilst learning about Nordic winter culture, activities, traditions and foods. Our Explorers are committed to fundraising as much as they can for this adventure, and not relying solely on the bank of mum and dad. &nbsp;We have lots of fundraising events planned. Support our Explorers today. Together, we&rsquo;ll turn this trip into lasting memories as well as skills for life.

Every trip, hike, and project is planned to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership. Funds raised support&nbsp;all our Explorers to participate in events, activities, and experiences. &nbsp;It ensures no child misses out due to finances. By giving today, you help more young people have a place to belong in Scouting, learn skills for life, and to contribute to their communities.

Help us name our Jellycat bear whilst raising money to help give young people from Castleford opportunities in Scouting. Jellycat is a popular London-based luxury soft toy brand that designs and sells premium, ultra-soft plush toys, dating back to 1999. Celebrated globally for their distinctive, velvety textures, premium materials, and playful, gentle humor suitable for all ages from birth onward. We are so excited to be able to name this Jellycat and find it a home.
