Every 4th Wednesday of the month, with some rotating dates. Adaptable for all levels and abilities, this workshop combines a gentle yoga flow with the sublime nature of poetry, forging a new &ldquo;road taken&rdquo; together. Inspired by the reconnection of two college friends (one a yoga instructor, the other a poet) over their shared love of poetry, this class seeks to inspire attendees to slooow down and pay attention to their breaths, bodies, minds&hellip; and the beautiful world around them. If you are a curious soul seeking a more poetic approach to life (whether you think you like poetry or not), come explore with us this &ldquo;road not (yet) taken&rdquo; together. That&rsquo;s when the &ldquo;power of poetry&rdquo; truly hit her and she excitedly called her friend: Marc currently resides in West Des Moines upon making his &ldquo;Hero&rsquo;s Journey&rdquo; back home after a long, long dream in West Hollywood, California. Marc is a poet, actor, theater critic, and educator who has helped train medical students (and other health professionals) at some of the top schools in Southern California. He has responded to Noelle&rsquo;s call for a yoga-poetry collaboration with his own &mdash; as Walt Whitman calls it &mdash; &ldquo;barbaric yawp.&rdquo;
