We operate in a small hillside community in Lima, Peru. The neighborhood where we work is one the poorest and most dangerous in South America. We have been ministering in this community since 2010. We hold Bible study classes during the week where children and adults can come learn from the Bible and hear the gospel preached. In this very poor community food is scarce so we give out food and other groceries each month to those who attend our classes. In May 2026 I (TJ) went to Puno, Peru with a friend to help him prepare for a mission trip later in the year. While there I stumbled upon a small farming community on the Chuquito Penninsula called Luquina Grande. Luquina Grande is a very poor economically and very poor spiritually. Just as I knew that God was calling me to Caja De Agua in 2010, it was clear to me that God was calling my family I to preach the gospel and minister to the people of Luquina Grande and the Chuquito Peninsula. Our plan is to visit this community a few times a year. Each time to preach the gospel, teach God’s word and feed the poor. Will you pray for us as we minister in this lost and forgotten community.
