At Higher Edge, our mission is to empower first-generation students to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college.&nbsp;&nbsp;Recently, Higher Edge faced a devastating breach of trust that has placed our programs and students at risk. At this critical moment, we are asking our community to stand with us &mdash; not only to help us recover, but to ensure that students who are counting on Higher Edge continue to receive the support they need.&nbsp;Through the Keep the Promise: Higher Edge Trust Campaign, every gift helps us stabilize our organization, continue serving students, and protect the promise we have made to first-generation college students and their families.&nbsp;Our students have worked too hard, and come too far, for their college dreams to be disrupted by circumstances beyond their control.

For over 16 years, Higher Edge has been serving students in Southeastern Connecticut to help students enter, succeed, and graduate from college.<ul fr-original-style="text-align: left;" style="text-align: left; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">85% of students enroll directly in college</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">90% persist to their second year</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">80% graduate in 4 years</li></ul>And for the last five years, this annual golf tournament has been a critical part of helping our students. It is no secret that it has been a challenging year for Higher Edge.
