LXCL:At Hit Me With Music, our mission is to use music therapy and high-quality music education to support the overall health, wellness, and growth of children in early elementary and middle school. We believe music can strengthen cognitive focus, communication, emotional regulation, and confidence while also supporting academic success. Through a welcoming, inclusive, and bias-free environment, every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience the joy and healing power of music.

Help us prepare students for a successful school year! Donations from this campaign will support our Back to School Cookout and Backpack Giveaway on August 23, 2026, providing backpacks and essential school supplies to local children and families. Every contribution helps us make a meaningful impact in our community. If you would like to donate new backpacks or school supplies instead of making a monetary contribution, items may be mailed or delivered to: 4025 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224. Backpack Giveaway: While supplies last during the event (12:00 PM&ndash;5:00 PM).

Backpack Giveaway Donations

Join our Weekly Social Drum Circle 🎶 and help create a steady rhythm of support for Baltimore youth. Learn social and emotional skills through an interactive drum circle for all ages and family members. Led by a licensed music therapist, your child can learn turn-taking, cooperation, and listening skills through instrument play. Designed for Autism waiver and LISS funding, $25 per session for out of pocket pay, $5 for each additional sibling under 18yo, infants and parents may attend for free. Join us at 10am Monday (July only) or 5pm Thursday (year round) at 4025 Eastern Ave. Fill out the intake form on the parent portal. 🧡

Weekly Social Drum Circle

Join our Family Music Group 🎶 by filling out this short form. You and your family can join our family friendly inclusive music therapy session each week on Wednesdays. We will include singing, instrument play, dance and movement and all kinds of fun for your children. All led by a board-certified music therapist, so your child can sing, dance and grow! ♪This groups will be designed for children 6 and under but all siblings and friends are invited to join. We have have behavioral supports, visual aids and a sensory friendly room to support our families with special needs.

How it works: When you enter the 50/50 Raffle, you&#39;re investing in a mission that uses the power of music to uplift, engage, and empower our community. One lucky winner will receive 50% of the total raffle proceeds, while the remaining 50% will help support the Foundation&#39;s programs, events, and initiatives throughout the year. Hit Me With Music Foundation's 50/50 Raffle 2026

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Hit Me With Music Foundation Back to School Cookout! This community event brings together families, local businesses, organizations, and supporters for a day of music, food, entertainment, and community engagement. *New date the 23rd of August after complications with the city/mayors office* Vendor spaces are available for both food and non-food vendors:&bull; Non-Food Vendors: $70&bull; Food Vendors: $100 Please complete the registration form and provide all requested information. Vendor fees help support event operations and the programs of the Hit Me With Music Foundation. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to having you join us and helping make this event a success for our community.

Join us for a hands-on Music Therapy Workshop 🎶 Join us for a hands-on Music Therapy Workshop 🎶 designed especially for children 10 and under in Baltimore.&nbsp;Through rhythm, song, movement, and creative play, young participants will explore new ways to build confidence, strengthen social and emotional skills, and support motor development. This interactive session invites kids to express themselves, make music together, and experience the joy and connection that music therapy brings. We can&rsquo;t wait to make music with you!
