A Benefit Vespers Concert &amp; PotluckHolden Village &mdash; a remote Lutheran retreat community tucked in Washington&#39;s North Cascade Mountains &mdash; has been closed after suffering serious flooding and fire damage. Holden operates entirely on donations, so your gift makes a direct difference in bringing this beloved place of worship, learning, and renewal back to life. Join us on Sunday, August 9 at 5:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chandler for an evening of sung vespers using Marty Haugen&#39;s Holden Evening Prayer, led by music directors from churches across the Valley who are generously donating their time. Worship will be followed by a potluck meal (bring a dish to share if you&#39;re able!). All proceeds from this community fundraiser go directly to Holden Village&#39;s recovery. Thank you for helping restore this wilderness sanctuary for generations to come.

Holy Trinity has had a vibrant music program since the church&#39;s founding in 1954. We started our Concert Series Music in the Neighborhood in the fall of 2017 and have seen incredible performances, from soloists to chamber ensembles to orchestras. Our priority is to offer concerts of beautiful and engaging music to our community completely free of charge.
