The Homer Yacht Club, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to furthering the art of SAILING, and to BOATING SAFETY. It is designed for participation by individuals and families alike. Although owning a sailboat is not required for membership, the Homer Yacht Club is designed for sail-boaters and others whose primary boating interest is sailing.By acquiring a membership, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks in any activities conducted on or around bodies of cold water, and that weather conditions may change unpredictably; and that there are inherent risks the sport of sailing due to crew error or to vessel, rigging, or gear motion or failure. You acknowledge that participation in any Homer Yacht Club, Inc. activity is entirely voluntary, and agree to hold the Homer Yacht Club, Inc., its members, board members, and officers harmless for any property damage or any personal injury to anyone, incurred during or stemming from Homer Yacht Club, Inc. activities.Note: Zeffy is a free service and the HYC will receive the full amount of your membership fee and/or donation.
