Hope And Glory Foundation Inc

Hope and Glory Foundation empowers children in extreme poverty by providing food, education, and prosthetic limbs. Founded after witnessing dire conditions in Nicaragua, their mission is to eradicate poverty and enhance the quality of life for vulnerable children.

La Fundaci&oacute;n Esperanza y Gloria es una organizaci&oacute;n sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3). Todas las ganancias del evento se destinan a ni&ntilde;os que necesitan pr&oacute;tesis. La Fundaci&oacute;n Esperanza y Gloria se cre&oacute; despu&eacute;s de que los fundadores Tim y Zoraida Roberts se embarcaran en un viaje humanitario a Nicaragua. Al llegar, los fundadores presenciaron a ni&ntilde;os que viv&iacute;an en una pobreza extrema como en ning&uacute;n otro lugar de las Am&eacute;ricas. Los ni&ntilde;os esperaban en los vertederos la llegada de la basura reci&eacute;n desechada, buscando cualquier cosa que fuera comestible para poder comer y luchar contra el hambre. Esta visi&oacute;n por s&iacute; sola les rompi&oacute; el coraz&oacute;n y los inspir&oacute; a marcar una diferencia y ayudar a esos ni&ntilde;os necesitados. En 2011, los fundadores viajaron de regreso a Nicaragua para evaluar d&oacute;nde estaba la mayor necesidad y determinar cu&aacute;l deb&iacute;a ser su primer programa para lograr el mayor impacto. Fue entonces cuando decidieron que erradicar la pobreza y luchar contra el hambre ten&iacute;a que ser su enfoque principal. Desde su fundaci&oacute;n, Tim y Zoraida han desarrollado una variedad de programas para lograr sus objetivos. Han desarrollado programas de alimentos que ayudan a alimentar y nutrir a los ni&ntilde;os hambrientos. Tambi&eacute;n han desarrollado programas educativos para ense&ntilde;ar a los ni&ntilde;os a leer y escribir, y tambi&eacute;n un programa de asistencia prot&eacute;sica y de amputaci&oacute;n donde ayudan a los ni&ntilde;os que necesitan pr&oacute;tesis para mejorar su calidad de vida y brindarles esperanza.

Upon arrival, the founders witnessed children living in extreme poverty unlike anywhere else in the Americas. Children were waiting in land fills for  the arrival of newly discarded trash, searching for anything that was edible so they could eat and fight starvation.
