Horse Harbor Foundation

Horse Harbor Foundation provides a permanent sanctuary for at-risk horses, ensuring they live free from neglect and fear. Through their School of Horsemanship, they teach stewardship and care while committing to a lifelong promise for each horse.

In the quiet of the barn, heroism doesn’t wear a cape. It looks like a fresh flake of hay. It sounds like the rhythmic crunch of a horse eating in a safe stall. It feels like the soft blow of a muzzle against a hand that is finally trusted. At Horse Harbor, we see these small miracles every day. But they don't happen by accident. They happen because of people like you—people who decide that a horse's past shouldn't dictate their future. We are looking for Horse Heroes. Being a Horse Hero isn't about a one-time rescue; it’s about the steady hand of monthly support. It’s the commitment to show up for these horses' month after month, ensuring their bellies are full and their hooves are cared for, no matter what. When you join us as a Horse Hero, you’re stepping into the stable with us. You’re giving these horses the most precious gift a rescue can receive: Consistency.
