We are dedicated to building and growing the foundation of the Houston Hockey Community through grassroots growth initiatives. Our leadership team and community advocates actively participate in outreach programs to locate the opportunities. Our Street Fleet Program breaks down financial and social barriers in underserved, low-income communities to provide opportunities for the youth to learn and participate in the team sport of hockey right in their own neighborhoods. Street Fleet provides a quality learning experience that builds life skills such as teamwork, confidence, and self-esteem while giving the children a constructive, safe place to play. NHL STREET brings new style, energy, and gameplay to the sport of hockey. We’re creating an affordable, neighborhood-based model that gives kids everywhere an opportunity to learn and play.HHC Directors and Community Advocates actively participate in outreach initiatives throughout the city. Our community champions will contact schools, community centers, churches, and more – to engage families and children and invite them to participate in a learn-to-play programs Each session will encourage participation and build physical skills and coordination as individuals and as a team through inclusion. HOUSTON HOCKEY COMMUNITYSTREET FLEET PROGRAMOur Street Fleet Program breaks down financial and social barriers inunderserved, low-income communities to provide opportunities for theyouth to learn and participate in the team sport of hockey right in their ownneighborhoods. Street Fleet provides a quality learning experience thatbuilds life skills such as teamwork, confidence, and self-esteem whilegiving the children a constructive, safe place to play.HHC Directors and Community Advocates actively participate in outreachinitiatives throughout the city. Our community champions will visit schools,community centers, churches, and more – to engage families and childrenand invite them to participate in a learn-to-play program at their locations.Once a relationship has been established with a church or school toimplement the program, HHC will schedule a Street Fleet 2-hour sessionwith that location to provide hockey equipment and host personal how toplay instruction in small groups initially, working up to creating teams toplay a non-competitive iurgame to learn or sharpen their skills by having fun.HHC will provide healthy refreshments and snacks during each session,stressing the importance of hydration and fuel for our bodies and why it’simportant when playing sports.HHC will allow a responsible designated coordinator at the location to storethe equipment at their location for use at the next scheduled HHC visit.The subsequent visits can be scheduled as weekly, bi-monthly, monthly orafter-school programs, as deemed appropriate by each location and staffavailability.Each session will encourage participation, and build physical skills andcoordination as individuals and as a team through inclusion.

Kids aged 3 to 12 can join the excitement and learn hockey fundamentals with us, focusing on joy and skill, not competition.At the Houston Hockey Community, we&#39;re committed to fostering teamwork and personal growth. So, bring your energy, enthusiasm, and let&#39;s skate together, creating lasting memories. We can&#39;t wait to see you there!

TIMBITS ONE TIMERS

Join us for our Saturday Morning Pick-up Game. This skate is open to all levels of Roller Hockey Players, Men and Women. Minors must play with parents or legal guardians. 20 Total Skaters and 3 Goalies. Paid Members All Non Members are $10.00. Locker Rooms are available and must be used. No changing in common areas. Goalies have designated Goalie area.&nbsp; Waivers must be signed prior to the game. If you have already signed a waiver you are good through 2026
