Nexutecture Scholarship Fund for Students of Architecture
Your gift to the Nexutecture Scholarship Fund invests directly in aspiring architects Help emerging architects complete their education—and put their ideas to work for communities.Seeded by The MXD Collaborative, Inc.Architecture shapes how people live, learn, gather, and belong. The Nexutecture Scholarship Fund invests in students who bring creative ability, integrity, and a vision for service to that responsibility. Our initial goal is to raise $15,000 annually to support students pursuing a NAAB-accredited five-year professional architecture degree, including the B.Arch. and integrated M.Arch. The fund’s scholarship model recognizes sustained progress through awards that increase as students advance toward graduation.A scholarship model that grows with achievementScholarship awards increase as students complete each year of their architectural education: $1,000 for the first year, $2,000 for the second year, $3,000 for the third year, $4,000 for the fourth year, and $5,000 for the fifth year. For the first four years, funds are released after successful completion of the corresponding academic year and verification of enrollment and attendance in the following year. The fifth-year award is released after verified completion of the Bachelor of Architecture degree within five years, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Together, these five awards total $15,000, forming the basis of our annual fundraising goal. The annual fundraising goal equals the combined value of one award at each milestone. The students we seek to supportEligible students must pursue a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree in an accredited program and meet a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.Selection considers a combination of factors, including but not limited to:Academic achievement: demonstrated progress toward completing the degree.Financial need: circumstances affecting the student’s ability to continue their education.Vision for service: a thoughtful understanding of how architecture and design can benefit others.Character: evidence of integrity, responsibility, perseverance, and consideration for others.Conceptual polymathic reasoning and creative skills: demonstrated through the student’s design portfolio.By conceptual polymathic reasoning, we mean the ability to connect ideas across fields—including art, science, technology, culture, ecology, and community life—and translate those connections into thoughtful architectural concepts. We value the thinking behind the work alongside its visual expression. Why NexutectureNexutecture explores how design can strengthen relationships among people, places, institutions, and the living world. This scholarship extends that inquiry to the next generation, supporting students who understand both buildings and the broader communities and systems those buildings affect.Help an emerging architect keep goingGive once or become a recurring supporter. Every contribution helps build the annual scholarship pool.A $1,000 gift equals the first milestone award for one 1st year student. A $5,000 gift equals the graduation award. A $15,000 annual contribution equals the full annual fund for five students.Invest in creative potential, sustained achievement, and a future shaped through service.Together, we build the next generation of community-focused, mission-driven designers. 📐
